جنرال موتورز تبحث الاندماج مع نيسان ورينو الجمعة

ذكرت نشرة بلومبرغ نيوز امس ان مجلس ادارة شركة جنرال موتورز سيجتمع يوم الجمعة لمناقشة اقتراح المساهم كيرك كركوريان بالانضمام لتحالف بين نيسان موتور اليابانية ورينو الفرنسية، ونقلت النشرة عن مسؤولين مطلعين على الخطط ان مديري اكبر شركة منتجة للسيارات في العالم سيستغلون مؤتمراً عن طريق الهاتف دعي اليه مسبقاً ومن المقرر عقده في السابع من يوليو تموز لدراسة الاقتراح، وقالت متحدثة باسم الشركة انها لا تعرف شيئاً عن الاجتماع، وذكر التقرير ان جنرال موتورز لا تؤكد عقد اي اجتماع لمجلس الادارة بشكل مسبق.

Nissan Issues Statement On Tracinda Corporation [July 3, 06]
TOKYO (July 3, 2006) The Board of Directors of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, met today. The meeting was chaired by Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn and included discussion on the events following the initiative taken by Tracinda Corporation regarding General Motors forming a new alliance with Renault and Nissan. The Board of Directors approved that Nissan should proceed with exploratory discussions concerning a potential alliance with General Motors, if General Motors Corporation supports and endorses the proposal made by its shareholders.
The Board of Directors delegated all the necessary powers to the Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, Carlos Ghosn, to conduct any discussions and negotiations on this matter.
